Happy Mother's Day!!!

How we define mother? It is challenging to define- a woman who conceives, give birth, raises and nurture a child or in any way how you define it. It's a hard profession to be a mother because you are nurturing a child until he becomes a full pledge adult huh!!! It's a lifetime commitment. God had blessed us a wonderful son "Kyle" he's five years old now and everyday it's a precious milestone for the three of us, everyday is a new learning approach and how we cope up with it. I have learned a lot of things it's basically an "on the job training" description of being a mom. That's why all the mother deserve this special day of recognition.

But how do I celebrate mother's day? We don't do elaborate celebration just to be with my family is a special day. Kyle made it more exciting because of his preparation-surprises for Mommy for the whole week. Everyday he made me cards and and his artwork speaks at all . He made the coolest stuff at school, about "Mommy's favorite recipe" and his teacher wrote down

"A doughbo"
Ingredients:

  • white chicken
  • soy sauce

  • Directions for cooking: Put on a plate then microwave and eat it!

Truthfully "Adobo" is Kyle's favorite and when I cook Adobo I always cook a lot and I will put the rest in a container and refrigerate it by the time he wants to eat some more I will just warm it up. That's why the microwave concept came in. Isn't it wonderful how our kids pay attention on us. But I was tickled because his teacher never heard of it and she didn't even know the write way to spell it cause Kyle just dictated it to her. We had our "Muffin's for Mom" celebration at school where we sat with them. It was so much fun!

Today, Mother's Day we went out and have lunch together in our favorite restaurant. Glenn and Kyle gave me gift card with their wonderful and sweet message for me with their surprise gift to me. They definitely rock my day!!! He always make my day fun and restful when I come home from my jobs. I have bunch of jobs trying to cope up the crisis. My husband was SUPER nice to let me work this many hehehe. I love you Honeybun. I hope to hear from all the mothers out there on how do you celebrate your mother's day? And that's about it!
